What is a typical system ?
A typical system takes multiple video sources from ANPR cameras and secondary
colour surveillance cameras.
Each traffic lane is processed by our ANPR Engine software which runs on a Front
End Processor.
Multiple "lanes of data" are transmitted to the ANPR Manager software
where the user is presented with:
Registration number plate +
If the vehicle is known stored details of the vehicle and driver +
The ANPR video image +
The colour surveillance image

The ANPR Manager software operates on a Windows NT network and can co-ordinate
various configurable outputs upon receipt of a registration number plate. See

Hardware
ANPS can provide all the hardware for any project. Our cameras are very specialised
and we normally supply them as part of our scope.
As for the remainder of the hardware, including PC's, we can either supply
or provide a control specification for procurement. 
Cameras
ANPS manufacture their own ANPR cameras. The cameras provide 24 hour all weather
capability.
There are several configurations depending on the application. From capture
speeds in excess of 150 MPH to barrier cameras for stationary vehicles. ANPS,
also manufacture a dual mode colour/monochrome camera.
This provides a high resolution colour image during daylight hours, from which
the make, model and colour of the vehicle may be easily identified. Secondary
imaging cameras may be linked to the system to provide an overview of the scene
or, a shot of the driver in barrier applications.
Our R&D department is also able to supply totally covert ANPR cameras for

PC's
In order to achieve a reliable, fast, and secure PC network we supply our own
specially procured PC's. These may be Desktop, Tower or Industrial rack mounted

Signs
We have developed our own advanced signs that are adapted for use in bright
daylight conditions.
The signs are typically 2m wide (double row 32 characters including spaces)
and are used to show the passing motorist that his/her vehicle has been detected.
Depending on the application this can serve as friendly information or as
a Warning !

Watchman
Watchman is our entry level, turnkey installation. Watchman vehicle access control
system, is specifically designed to be easy to use and particularly simple to
operate. Anyone with basic computer skills can be trained in an hour. The application
software was designed after exhaustive input from our customers. Usually the
systems comprise of one or two cameras and the external LED sign. Features Builds

ANPS, has several front end configurations available. However, we also offer
